Moderated by Metfone Deputy General Director Ouk Chipphal, the seminar featured presentations on how artificial intelligence and digital platforms can address practical needs in business operations.

Opening the seminar, Pham Manh Hung of VCX highlighted the changes AI is bringing to customer service, from automated responses to personalized services. He noted, however, that the effectiveness of AI depends on combining technology with human understanding. While AI can handle routine requests, staff can focus on cases requiring professional expertise, empathy, and decision-making.

On the occasion, VCX introduced several supporting platforms, including the OmniX omnichannel interaction platform, the CXBot virtual assistant, and the KnowX Hub smart knowledge base.

Continuing the seminar, eMoney Deputy Director Pham Thanh Phong discussed cash-flow digitization, highlighting the use of e-wallets in salary payments, collections, and transactions. He cited an e-wallet payroll solution for 1,000 rubber workers that reduced processing time from several days to just a few hours. Workers receiving their salaries through e-wallets can use the funds for payments and money transfers or withdraw cash.

For Metfone’s fee collection, QR codes enable convenient payments and automated reconciliation. eMoney also introduced salary advance services and cross-border payment solutions between Viet Nam and Cambodia.

Addressing enterprise security in the AI era, Metfone B2B Deputy Director Nguyen Ba Giang highlighted risks such as phishing, ransomware, and data breaches that can disrupt business operations. Metfone, in coordination with Viettel Cyber Security Company (VCS), introduced solutions including attack simulation, IoT security assessment, risk alerts, and 24/7 information security monitoring.

The solutions are designed to help enterprises access security services tailored to their systems and available resources, strengthening their ability to identify and respond to cybersecurity risks.

By combining the expertise of Viettel’s member companies with Metfone and eMoney’s understanding of the Cambodian market, the seminar presented practical approaches to digital transformation based on specific business needs in Cambodia. The solutions are expected to help enterprises improve operational efficiency and build stronger, long-term relationships with customers.
