After a week of intensive work in difficult conditions, the two units coordinated closely to maintain uninterrupted medical services while conducting full handover procedures, including inventory checks and transfer of responsibilities. The process was carried out promptly, comprehensively, and in line with regulations.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Anh Duc, Director of Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 6, shared valuable experience in operating the hospital and expressed confidence that the successor would build on the achievements of its predecessors, which had been recognized by the U.N. and UNMISS. He affirmed that the new contingent would accomplish its mission with distinction and further highlight the tradition of Vietnam’s military medical forces in international arena.

Director of Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 7 Major Tran Duc Tai congratulated the predecessors on successfully completing its tenure with outstanding results. He pledged that the new unit would uphold solidarity, responsibility, and determination to fulfill all tasks entrusted by the Party, the State, the people, and the military.
At the conference, the directors of both hospitals signed the official handover document, marking an important milestone in Vietnam’s participation in U.N. peacekeeping.

Following the event, the hospitals had an online meeting with the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations (VNDPKO). Senior Colonel Mac Duc Trong, VNDPKO’s Deputy Director, praised the swift and effective handover, commended the dedication of both units, and expressed confidence that the Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 7 would continue to uphold the professionalism and humanitarian spirit of Vietnam’s “soldier–doctors” in peacekeeping operations.
