Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam attended the event.
Accordingly, Viettel Construction was established on October 30, 1995, with its operation focusing on five main pillars, namely infrastructure investment, construction, information technology, technical solutions and services, and operational management.
For five consecutive years (2020-2024), Viettel Construction has been in the top 500 fastest growing and most profitable enterprises in Vietnam, and the top 50 best listed companies in Vietnam. In 2010, the unit was honored with third-class Labor Order. In the 2014-2023 period, the unit received many noble awards, including the title “Determined to win” unit, the emulation flags of the Government and the Ministry of National Defense, the second-class and first-class Fatherland protection orders, and others.
In his speech, Sr. Lt. Gen. Pham Hoai Nam highly appreciated the determination, creativity and great efforts of Viettel Construction in particular and Viettel in general in mastering and pioneering in the telecommunications infrastructure sector, contributing to lifting the country's telecommunications industry to the global standard.

The deputy defense minister required the unit to strictly implement the resolution of the eighth session of the 11th Party Central Committee on Fatherland protection strategy in the new situation while maintaining its leading position in construction, operation, exploitation, and investment in telecommunications infrastructure and other business sectors.
