Building on its expertise in data infrastructure, Viettel Asset has expanded into infrastructure for research and manufacturing. The Viettel Research and Development Center, covering 13 hectares with a total investment of approximately VND 10 trillion, is expected to become the group’s innovation hub.

The semiconductor chip manufacturing plant in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, breaking ground in January 2026, is a project of unprecedented technical complexity in Viet Nam. Notably, Viettel Asset is responsible for the whole project implementation process, from investment procedures and international contractor selection to construction management.

In addition, the company has developed research complexes and workshops serving the defense industry. It has also participated in projects to build new headquarters in collaboration with leading international design firms.

In the coming years, apart from digital and high-tech infrastructure, Viettel Asset will expand into commercial real estate, concentrated digital technology parks and logistics infrastructure. Over the next decade, it aims to increase the total value of assets under its management by eight to ten times the current level.
