Invested by Viettel, the project is located at commercial and services plot 03 on 7-5 (May 7) street, Dien Bien Phu ward, Dien Bien province. With a total investment of over VND 104.8 billion, the structure features nine above-ground floors and one technical penthouse, reaching a height of 40.05 meters. The building has a total construction floor area of approximately 3,953 square meters on a 2,462.8-square-meter land plot. Classified as a group B civil engineering project of grade II with a minimum service life of 50 years, the facility is scheduled for completion and handover in the fourth quarter of 2027.
Addressing the ceremony, Chairman of the Dien Bien provincial People’s Committee Le Van Luong affirmed that the groundbreaking ceremony of Viettel building in Dien Bien held significant importance. He noted that the modern structure aligns with the landscape and northwest cultural identity, contributing to architectural highlights and enhancing the urban appearance of Dien Bien Phu toward a green, smart, civilized, and sustainable direction.
To maximize project efficiency, the provincial leader requested Viettel and Dien Bien Viettel to direct investors, consultants, and contractors to execute the project in a manner that guarantees both progress and quality. The province is committed to creating a favorable environment for practical cooperation programs that deliver tangible products and long-term effectiveness.
Addressing the ceremony, Lt. Gen. Tao Duc Thang emphasized that this project is part of Viettel’s overall infrastructure investment program which the group is actively implementing across the country. Although the projects vary in scale and nature, they are all important to the group’s development strategy and will create new foundations for localities, the military and the country.

These projects not only expand Viettel’s facilities but also demonstrate the group’s proactive approach and readiness in terms of infrastructure and resources for the future, thereby enhancing its ability to master technology, promoting digital transformation and making greater contributions commensurate with the position and responsibility of a key national corporation.
The general added that the newly launched project reflects Viettel’s commitment and dedication to accompanying Dien Bien province, enabling customers to enjoy improved services and greater benefits once the facility becomes operational.
