Vietnam State Treasury and MB sign cooperation agreement
PANO – A cooperation agreement was signed between the Vietnam State Treasury and Military Bank (MB), on March 16 in Hanoi, aiming to facilitate payment activities between the two institutions.
Thanks to the deal, the two sides can operate online transactions in a fast, convenient and safe manner for their customers. At first, the Vietnam State Treasury will facilitate transactions of military customers via MB, in terms of time and safety.
Nguyen Hong Ha, General Director of the State Treasury, said that the agreement would benefit the two sides, especially for military units. Online transactions will also provide customers with many choices for payment, reducing the use of cash and contributing to enhancing internet banking.
Senior Lieutenant General Le Huu Duc, MB’s Board of Directors, expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of National Defense and the Vietnam State Treasury for great support for the bank. MB also vowed to improve its infrastructure and technological network to meet all requirements of the Ministry of Finance and the Vietnam State Treasury, ensuring benefits for customers.
Colonel Luu Trung Thai, Head of MB, said that the State Treasury and MB have agreed on efficient measures to boost effective bilateral cooperation between the two sides. With 268 transaction offices nationwide, together with two foreign markets, namely Laos and Cambodia, MB has consolidated its brand and quality in financial and banking services. MB has now been ready for cooperation with the State Treasury in transaction, especially for military units, said MB’s Director.
