PANO - The Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) in the southern region  presented gifts to wounded soldiers and national contributors at the Long Dat  Rehabilitation Center in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, on occasion of the 69th anniversary of the Vietnam Day for Martyrs and Wounded Soldiers (July 27th 1947).

The activity demonstrated the gratitude of the bank’s personnel to the great contributions of heroic martyrs and wounded soldiers during Vietnam's national struggle and liberation cause, contributing to promoting  the tradition "When drinking water, remember its source" and "Repaying gratitude".

The bank delegation presented gifts, worth VND 1 million each, to 60 policy beneficiaries at the center, and donated VND 30 million to the center.

The center is now taking care of 60 serious wounded soldiers with injuries from 81-100 percent in the 18 southern provinces and cities. They were troops in action in the battlefields of B, C, K, the Southwestern and the Northern borders. In addition, the center also received from 2,300 to 2,500 wounded soldiers, Vietnam heroic mothers, martyrs’ relatives, Dioxin victims from the provinces each year.

Earlier, the delegation offered incense at the monument and temple of Martyr-heroine Vo Thi Sau in Dat Do district, Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
