Over the past six months, the Office of the GDP thoroughly grasped and followed higher levels’ resolutions and instructions, gave timely advice to senior commanders, and directed units across the army to comprehensively implement Party and political work.

Speaking at the ceremony, General Cuong acknowledged and praised the efforts and achievements of the GDP’s relevant units in performing their tasks. He said that the units have actively grasped all situations, provided timely and good advice to higher authorities and renewed training methods.

He also applauded military press agencies for their efforts in performing their missions. He hailed the role of the military press in disseminating information to fight the “peaceful evolution” strategy and sabotage activities of hostile forces and to prevent the phenomena of “self-evolution” and “self-transformation” inside the force.

Regarding the tasks in the remaining months of this year, General Cuong noted that the units should continue focusing on implementing higher levels’ instructions and resolutions, improving the quality and effectiveness of political and ideological education.
