Over the past time, with due attention from the MND and the Naval Service, the factory has received investments to improve technical infrastructure and apply advanced technologies to the maintenance of weapons and equipment. These have effectively contributed to the factory’s good performance of ship maintenance.

Additionally, the factory has cooperated with relevant agencies and units to repair vessels, weapons and equipment in line with assigned plans and targets, ensuring both quality and schedule.

Moreover, it has successfully conducted technical training, compiled and translated technical documents and organized factory-level competitions and exercises. It has also been the first naval unit to effectively apply information technology (IT) to managing technical services.

After an on-site inspection, Gen. Vinh applauded the factory for its task implementation and production results. He asked it to strictly follow the process of technical equipment repair; master and effectively utilize the equipment that has been invested in, and enhance professional expertise, IT skills, and foreign language command of its staff and workers to improve maintenance capabilities.

The defense leader also urged the factory to continue implementing policy work in an effective manner, promptly make commendations to motivate its personnel. Furthermore, it should closely coordinate with relevant agencies and units to accomplish all assignments.
