Sac Forest war base - a vibrant tourist attraction in summer

In summer, this national historical relic site welcomes a number of delegations from agencies, organizations, and schools nationwide.

Visitors to the site learn about the national traditions, report on their achievements gained in the past. The relic is also chosen as a place witnessing new Party members and Youth Union members admitted to the Party and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Experiencing “living with the history” and  exploring other interesting things in this relic site also attract many tourists.

Located in the middle of Can Gio mangrove forest, Rung Sac war base historical relic site is a complex of structure works that faithfully recaptures the life and combat of officers and soldiers of Rung Sac Commando Unit 10 during the resistance war against the U.S. imperialists for national salvation.

Visitors “live with the history” while boarding a canoe to explore gliding through the canals in the immense primeval mangrove forest.

This sacred site is chosen by agencies, departments, associations, etc. to conduct their “Returning to the roots” programs, report on their achievements, and pay tribute to 915 Rung Sac commandos who sacrificed their lives in the resistance war against the U.S. imperialists for national salvation.
