*The same day, Tran Thanh Man, Party Central Committee member, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee and a delegation of Central Department and Thanh Hoa provincial authorities presented gifts to the families of national contributors in Quang Xuong district, Thanh Hoa province. On this occasion, the delegation also handed over four gratitude houses to needy families of national contributors and presented gifts to 10 war invalids in the district.

Earlier, the delegation had offered incense and flowers at the Temple dedicated to Vietnamese heroic mothers and martyrs' in Thanh Hoa city.

* At Depot K852, a delegation of the General Department of Techniques provided free health check-ups and medicines to nearly 500 local people and presented 24 gifts to families of national contributors, needy people in the three communes of Bai Son, Minh Thanh and Thinh Thanh. The total cost of the program is nearly VND 100 million.

* The People’s Committee of An Giang province on July 20 held a ceremony to rebury 168 sets of remains of Vietnamese voluntary soldiers who died in the wartime.

* A delegation of Thai Son Corporation under the Ministry of National Defense visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers in Cu Chi district, HCM City. The delegation visited and extended wishes to four Vietnamese heroic mothers.

* The Military Hospital 175 under the Ministry of National Defense, in association with the Phu Yen Provincial Military Command and Kim Oanh Real Estate Joint Stock Company held a program to provide free health check-ups and give gifts to war invalids, sick soldiers, veteran and national contributors, and people of ethnic minority groups. Accordingly, from July 20 to 22, more than 1,200 people received free health examination, and 560 needy people received gifts in three communes of Ea Bar, Ea Ba and Ea Lam. The delegation also donated some medical equipment to commune-level medical stations in Song Hinh district.

* Cam Ranh Border Guard Station under the Khanh Hoa provincial Border Guard Command on July 19 visited and presented gifts to families of national contributors, poor households in nine communes and wards in Cam Ranh city. Notably, the unit donated 45 gifts, worth VND 600,000 to needy people in the area. The fund was mobilized by its cadres and soldiers as well as businesses and donors.
