Particularly, President Ho Chi Minh’s call for the General Uprising and the Resolution of the Plenary Meeting of the Indochinese Communist Party in August 1945 are also on display.

The Indochinese Communist Party led by President Ho Chi Minh mapped out guidelines for the General Uprising to oust the prolonged feudalist and colonial system in 1945. With the sound and timely decision and directions of President Ho Chi Minh, the general uprising was ended with success. In the letter calling for the general uprising, President Ho Chi Minh wrote: “My dear compatriots! Now the time to decide the destiny of our nation has come; compatriots nationwide should stand up to use our own strength to liberate ourselves. Many oppressed peoples around the world are striving for their nations’ independence. We can not delay. Move on! Move on! Under Viet Minh, let all compatriots courageously advance forward.”
