Memorial and burial service held for 19 martyrs

Eighteen out of the 19 sets of martyrs' remains were found by the officers and soldiers of Team K52 and local relevant forces in An Binh ward of An Khe town, while the remaining one was unearthed in Yang Bac commune, Dak Po district, Gia Lai province. All teeth and bones of the martyrs’ remains were stored in biological containers for later testing.

During the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the An Khe town People’s Committee Tran Thi Kim Dung expressed deep gratitude to the fallen soldiers who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and reunification.

Local people paying tribute to the fallen soldiers

The local authorities and people promised and are determined to well fulfill socio-economic targets, build a strong political system, and contribute to the local development, while taking care of policy households, national contributors, and fallen soldiers’ families.
