The program will be conducted in 350 localities in mountainous, remote, border areas, and on islands across the country under Decision 2506/QD-TC of the General Department of Politics.

During the five-day event, organizers will hold a “Banh chung xanh” (Green chung cake - traditional Vietnamese glutinous rice cake) festival and a “Xuan bien gioi tham tinh quan dan” (Spring of military-civilian solidarity in border areas) program. Participating units will present houses, provide free health check-ups and medicines to policy beneficiaries and needy households in Quang Tri province’s Huong Hoa district and other localities. They will visit and present chung cakes and gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers, troops, policy beneficiaries, needy students, ethnic minority groups, and mountainous children with good academic records.

During the event, various cultural and sport exchanges will also be held to promote solidarity between troops and local people.
