Troops closely coordinated with local forces to transport sandbags, reinforcing more than 3km of the Mia River’s dyke in Thanh Ha district.

Over the past few days, Division 325 has mobilized more than 2,000 troops and hundreds of vehicles to assist the people in Son Dong and Luc Ngan districts, Bac Giang province in overcoming the third storm (Typhoon Yagi) aftermath. They transported nearly 500 tons of goods, helped 12 schools and offices, and supported over 300 households to relocate their property to safer places, among others.

* Earlier on the same day, troops of Division 325 and local authorities reinforced 2 kilometers of the dyke in Hoa Long ward, Bac Ninh city, Bac Ninh province.

Thanks to thorough preparations, Division 325 helped local authorities and people minimize the damage caused by the third storm and soon stabilize people's lives.

* On the same day, due to heavy rain, the water level of the Cau Nga River on the Tay Mo side, Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi, reached 7 meters, with the risk of flooding Cau Nga pumping station.

Learning about the situation, the Vietnam Coast Guard Command promptly mobilized nearly 100 troops to reinforce the dyke.
