Regiment 95 is located in Buon Ho town, which is home to various ethnic groups. Of the total population, 28.23% are ethnic minority people, and 53.41% are religious practitioners. The political security, social order and safety situation in the locality is potentially complicated since hostile forces always take advantage of ethnic, religious, and human rights issues to sabotage the revolution; entice and incite ignorant people to violate the law.

Understanding the actual local situations, Regiment 95’s Party Committee and Chain-of-Command have clearly determined missions. According to Deputy Political Commissar of Regiment 95 Lieutenant Colonel Ngo Tuan Anh, the unit’s party committee and chain-of-command and local party committee and authorities annually discuss and agree on contents, targets, and solutions. The unit has paid attention to assisting the locality in consolidating grassroots political systems, building traffic and irrigation works, and completing new-style rural area building criteria on healthcare, education, environment, and poverty rate.

From 2012 to 2023, Regiment 95 has contributed 10,000 working days to help the localities repair and build around 100km of rural roads, 15km of irrigation channels, and three gratitude houses. The unit has also given assistance to build ten houses for natural disasters-hit households and repair 48 others; provided free health check-ups and medicines for 10,000 people; presented plant and animal varieties to and equipped 15 poor local households with farming and animal husbandry techniques to help them overcome poverty. Thanks to the support from the unit’s troops, Cu Bao, Binh Thuan, and Ea Drong communes have met all new-style rural area building criteria. The unit is continuing to help the localities to fulfill criteria for advanced new-style rural areas.

From 2023, Regiment is tasked to conduct mass mobilization activities in Ea Blang of Bon Ho town. Over the past time, the unit has brought into play gained outcomes and experience in conducting mass mobilization activities to help the locality soon meet all new-style rural area building criteria.
