Military Region 5’s units provide health check-ups for people in Binh Dinh province

The activity was conducted on the sidelines of the two units’ outdoor training and engagement in a live-fire exercise at National Military Training Center 2.

In September 7 program, affiliated units of Division 2 presented 58 gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to local people and five bicycles to disadvantaged students with good study results.

Meanwhile, Artillery Brigade 572 teamed up with local party committee and authorities to check health and give medicines to 15 local policy beneficiaries and elder people. It also handed over 20 gifts, each valued at VND 500,000, to families facing difficulties in life in the localities.

These small gifts and good deeds full of troops’ sentiments helped enhance the close-knit ties and solidarity between people and troops, contributing to beautifying the noble qualities of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new period.

The implementation of such activity also contributed to raising troops’ awareness of and responsibility in performing their duties and showing high determination to complete all assigned missions, including the live-fire exercise coded DT-23.
