PAN asked to write more articles on Ho Chi Minh City
PANO - A mission from the Ho Chi Minh City’s Party Committee, led by its Permanent Deputy Secretary Tran Luu Quang, visited and congratulated the People’s Army Newspaper (PAN)’s branch office in Ho Chi Minh City on the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day on June 20.

At the meeting, Quang expressed his appreciation for the role of PAN and its branch office in Ho Chi Minh City, its operation in line with the newspaper’s principles and purpose, as well as its close coordination with the municipal Party committee, authorities, and departments to effectively disseminate the city’s activities, especially in socio-political issues, national defense, security, economy, and culture.
The city’s official emphasized that the PAN’s publications have helped local troops and people learn more about the Party’s directives and resolutions. They also helped the city to grasp local people’s aspirations and thoughts, contributed to raising the locals’ awareness, responsibility, as well as cultural and spiritual life.
According to Quang, through the PAN’s publications, the locals’ trust in the Party committee and authorities has been raised and the fight against wrongful viewpoints of hostile forces has shown effectiveness.
In the coming time, the municipal Party Committee wished the PAN to promote its dissemination of information throughout the city, especially key programs and major projects, to achieve the goal of turning into a city of civilization, modernization, compassion, integration, and sustainable development.
