PANO - The Ha Tinh provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization and the provincial People’s Committee held a conference on January 7 to exchange experience and discuss solutions for information dissemination to prevent and combat illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing, and build an effective mass mobilization model in Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province.

Apart from performing tasks of training, combat readiness, patrol, inspection, law enforcement maintenance and search and rescue at sea, Naval Squadron 102 is also a pioneering force in mass mobilization work. At the conference, the unit emphasized the importance of combining law dissemination with building trust and patriotism among people.

Through programs, such as "Coast guards stand by fishermen" or the "I love national sea and islands" contest, Naval Squadron 102 has conducted law dissemination and education for tens of thousands of people and students.

In addition to its political mission, Squadron 102 also contributed to the building of new-style rural areas in Nghi Xuan district; mobilized more than 1,000 working days, repaired roads, built cultural houses and presented thousands of gifts to policy beneficiaries. These activities have contributed to beautifying the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in general and the coast guards in particular in people’s hearts.
