From 2002 to 2025, Team K72 of the Dong Nai Provincial Military Command recovered 3,994 sets of martyrs’ remains for reburial. In January 2026, the team found 15 additional sets, including one DNA-eligible sample. During the solemn memorial ceremony, delegates honored President Ho Chi Minh and the heroes who sacrificed for national liberation and defense. Afterward, the deputy defense minister presented gifts and Lunar New Year greetings to Team K72 and the Binh Phuoc War Cemetery Management Board. General Luong also visited Corps 16 and the Engineering Officer Candidate School, praising their achievements and urging continued unity, combat readiness, and support for local residents and policy beneficiaries during the holidays.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, he urged the units to strengthen communication and education to raise awareness of law observance and discipline, ensure traffic safety, pro-actively and effectively implement the military and defense plans in 2026, strictly maintain combat readiness, patrols and guard duties, safeguard security and order, and prevent and combat fires and explosions, contributing to a warm and joyful spring and the successful fulfillment of assigned tasks. He also presented New Year gifts to Corps 16 and the Engineering Candidate Training School.

Le Huy Vinh led a delegation to visit and extend New Year greetings to former Members of the Party Central Committee and former Deputy Ministers of National Defense, Sr. Lt. General Vinh thanked former leaders for their contributions to the Party, nation, and military. After briefing them on recent defense tasks, he expressed hope for their continued guidance. In response, the former leaders lauded the military’s achievements and urged personnel to uphold the heroic traditions of the Vietnam People’s Army.

On February 4, Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Van Hien inspected and extended Tet greetings to Regiments 915 and 920. He praised their flight safety, combat readiness, and disaster relief efforts. Hien directed the units to enhance training quality, ensure safe operations, and embrace digital transformation while organizing Lunar New Year activities focused on "high combat readiness, strict discipline, unity, safety and thrift."

That afternoon, General Hien visited and extended New Year greetings to Air Defense - Air Force units. Commending their achievements, he ordered them to maintain combat readiness, manage airspace, and ensure equipment functionality. He also emphasized preparing for 2026 recruit training, upholding discipline, and organizing Lunar New Year activities according to regulations.

He presented Lunar New Year gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to the units.
