Press publications presented to troops and residents in Truong Sa Special Zone
PANO – On February 26, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Journalists' Association, in coordination with the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Khanh Hoa Provincial Library, held the closing ceremony of the Spring Press Festival 2026.
The festival took place from February 9 to February 26 (from the 22nd day of the last lunar month of the Year of the Snake to the 10th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Horse). Featuring hundreds of newspaper titles, along with magazines and special publications, the event attracted a large number of readers and local residents.

In his closing remarks, Doan Minh Long, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Journalists' Association and head of the organizing committee, noted that the organizers actively mobilized social resources and coordinated with journalists’ associations from other provinces and cities to ensure diversity and richness in both content and format.
All more than 1,000 press publications displayed at the festival were presented to troops and residents in Truong Sa Special Zone and to children’s bookcases at schools in remote and mountainous areas across Khanh Hoa Province. The publications are regarded as meaningful spiritual gifts, conveying the sentiments of the mainland and people nationwide to officers, soldiers and residents on national islands.

On the occasion, the organizing committee also presented awards to authors whose outstanding journalistic works on Khanh Hoa were featured in the 2026 Spring editions.
Certificates of recognition were granted to organizations and enterprises that made significant contributions to and accompanied the festival, including Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company, HD Hyundai Vietnam Shipbuilding, Thien Phuoc Ecotourism Service Company, and Khai Vy Group Joint Stock Company.

At the closing ceremony, representatives of participating enterprises symbolically handed over the press publications to the Naval Region 4 Command for delivery to troops and residents in Truong Sa Special Zone.
