Military units help improve local political organizations
PANO - Since the beginning of 2017, military units have twinned with 3,883 Party committees and local governing bodies, 6,606 social and political organizations and built political establishments in over 3,000 commune-level localities nationwide.
In addition, the units have helped improve 2,931 Party organizations and 9,615 socio-political organizations.

They have opened 372 training courses on defense-security knowledge for 4,746 religious dignitaries, followers and village heads.
The Party Committees and Chains-of-Command of the Vietnam Border Guard and military regions have sent over 300 officers to hold posts in Party committees and governing bodies of localities.
