* The Standing Board of the Ho Chi Minh City chapter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in association with relevant agencies handed over money, necessities and medical supplies granted by the Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly to COVID-19 preventive forces in the city on September 9.
The support package of the Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly, worth VND 847 million in total, includes 1,500 gifts for children under COVID-19 treatment, and VND 400 million in cash for needy workers, COVID-19 infected postpartum women.
The Social Affairs Committee of the National Assembly also presented three ventilators, 500 protective suits, 1,000 cloth face masks, and numerous medical equipment to the city.
* The same day, a delegation of Military Region 4, led by its Second-in-Command (2IC) Major General Nguyen Anh Tuan, checked the storage and transportation of COVID-19 vaccines at Warehouse K55, the Department of Logistics.

* On September 9, Major General Nguyen Van Gau, Political Commissar of Military Region 9 visited and presented gifts to military personnel of the Field Hospital for COVID-19 Treatment No.6B.
Briefed on the hospital’s operations, General Gau applauded their achieved results over the past time. In addition, he urged the hospital’s personnel to uphold responsibilities and solidarity, overcome hardships and improve treatment effectiveness.

Previously, on September 8, Major General Nguyen Minh Trieu, 2IC of Military Region 9 visited and presented gifts to troops of the Field Hospital for COVID-19 Treatment No.6 in Binh Duc commune, Chau Thanh district, Tien Giang province.
* The Thua Thien - Hue provincial Youth Union Committee in association with relevant agencies inaugurated and handed over the construction works entitled “Lighting up the borderline for COVID-19 prevention and control” to the provincial Border Guard Command.

The works have been built at 19 locations along the Vietnam-Laos borderline of Thua Thien - Hue province. Each construction work, worth VND 70 million, includes two metal lamp posts installed with 300LM Solar Powered Light Led Bulbs
The construction works are expected to assist local troops to enhance border patrol and management as well as COVID-19 prevention and control work.
* Air Defense Brigade 77 of Military Region 7 transported four tons of agricultural produce presented by people in Tan Quan commune, Hon Quan district, Binh Phuoc province, to pandemic-hit people in Go Vap district and District 12 of Ho Chi Minh City.

* On September 9, Bu Gia Map district authorities handed over four tons of rice, 2,000 eggs, 267 bottles of cooking oil and fish sauce, and other necessities, worth VND 90 million in total, to the Bu Dang district People’s Committee.
* A delegation of the Department of Politics of Military Region 7, led by its Deputy Director Senior Colonel Nguyen Duc Thang, visited and offered gifts to doctors and medical workers of the Field Hospital for COVID-19 Treatment No.5B.
