The medical staff of Defense-Economic Unit 778 provide healthcare service to needy people in Bu Gia Map commune, Bu Gia Map district, Binh Phuoc province.

During the program, Defense-Economic Unit 778 provided free health check-ups and medicines to more than 500 policy beneficiaries and ethnic minority people in Bu Gia Map commune, Bu Gia Map district.

The total cost of the program was more than VND 300 million.

Colonel Hoang Van Hung, Political Commissar of Economic-Defense Unit 778, noted that Bu Gia Map is a border commune which is home to many ethnic minority groups. Local people’s living conditions remain hard, and many of them are unable to access healthcare services.

The meaningful and practical program helped not only take care of local people’s health but also raise their living quality. It was part of the mass mobilization activities supporting policy beneficiary households and ethnic minority groups in the area, ensuring that everyone has a joyful and cozy Tet holiday.
