An overview of the information dissemination session during the program

During the program, the organizers held an information dissemination session on the mission of safeguarding national territorial sovereignty and border security; conducted border patrols, provided participants with position and significance of national border markers. They also reviewed the glorious tradition of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Organization, had volleyball exchanges with locals to strengthen military-civilian bonds.

In addition, Youth Union members joined hands in planting 1,700 Cunninghamia lanceolata trees in Mo Phang village to promote environmental protection and develop sustainable forestry economy.

Addressing the event, a representative from the Party Committee of Son Vi commune emphasized the meaning of the program which left a positive impression on participants, helping foster revolutionary ideal, patriotism, and sense of responsibility for national construction and defense among youth.

The commune official underlined that the program was a good opportunity to enhance relations between border guard troops and local Youth Union members and ethnic communities and encourage participants to further their joint efforts to firmly defend territorial sovereignty and border security of the nation.

The “March in border areas” program was held in celebration of the 95th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Organization (March 26, 1931 - 2026), the first Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation’s Son Vi Commune Chapter, and the success of the election of deputies to the National Assembly and people’s councils at all levels for the 2025-2031 term.
