In their free time, year-nine student Lo Van Dieu and his classmates always attend the free computer class of Keng Du border guards. They are all children of ethnic groups in Keng Du commune and have no chance to study with computers.

The students gradually learn to use computers.

However, thanks to the support of border troops, they gradually know how to use computers.

Currently, many villages in Keng Du commune do not have electricity, so students have very little chance to access computers. Therefore, the border post called on sponsors to open the free computer class for the students.

All computers are connected to the internet so that the officers and soldiers can instruct the students to search for useful information for their study and daily life.

Chairman of the Keng Du Commune People’s Committee Luong Van Ngam held that the number of poor families still accounts for over 70 percent of the commune’s population. Over the past time, troops of Keng Du Border Post have wholeheartedly supported local residents to do business. In addition, the post’s computer class also paves the way for a better life in the future for local students as well.

Moreover, the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command has built five houses to accommodate local needy students to help them follow their study.
