Contestants enthusiastically take part in the competition.

Attending the program were Senior Colonel Tran Hong Que, Deputy Political Commissar of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command; Nguyen Ngoc Thai, Director of the Quang Ngai Provincial Department of Education and Training; Vo Thi Tuyet Nhung, Deputy Head of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, and Mass Mobilization.

In the competition, 100 contestants representing more than 15,000 students from 31 secondary schools across Quang Ngai province took part in four rounds: “Setting Sail,” “Riding the Waves,” “Making Landfall,” and “Placing Sovereignty Markers.” The content and questions focused on knowledge of Vietnam’s sea and islands, the Vietnam Law of the Sea, the Law on the Vietnam Coast Guard, as well as the nation’s history of building and defending the country, the traditions of the military, and the heroic Quang Ngai.

At the end of the contest, the organizing panel awarded one First, two Second, two Third, and five Consolation prizes, and selected the five most outstanding contestants to advance to the regional final round, scheduled to take place in the second quarter of 2026.

Leaders of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command and representatives of relevant agencies and companies visit and pay tribute to heroic Vietnamese mothers.

On this occasion, the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, together with the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, and Mass Mobilization, and Namy Co., Ltd., also visited and presented gifts in tribute to five heroic Vietnamese mothers.
