Emulation movement in COVID-19 combat launched
PANO – For the two days of May 19 and 20, the People's Committees of the border communes of Ia Rve, Ia Lop and Ea Bung in Ea Sup district and Krong Na commune in Buon Don district, in coordination with border posts stationed in the areas, launched an emulation movement in COVID-19 combat and illegal border crossings in border areas.

Therefore, representatives of the participating border communes committed to join the movement with contents such as disseminating and mobilizing people to strictly observe the Party’s guidelines and State’s laws and policies, local regulations in national border protection as well as COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.
* On May 20, the Ngoc Lam commune People's Committee (Thanh Chuong District, Nghe An province), together with Ngoc Lam Border Post of the Nghe An provincial Border Guard kicked off an emulation movement for people in border areas to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and illegal border crossings.
At the event, representatives of the communes signed a resolution to strictly implement the COVID-19 prevention and control regulations of the locality and health sector.
On this occasion, the organizing panel presented medical face masks and gifts to the local authorities and a mailbox to report crimes to the localities.
The Border Guard Command also honored individuals and groups who have made great contributions in COVID-19 prevention and control and managing illegal border crossings over the past time.
