Leaflets outlining key provisions of the Law on Children, the Law on Marriage and Family, and the Law on Military Service were distributed to local residents and students. A highlight that drew active participation from students was the “Legal Quiz.” Through practical scenarios, dissemination officers clearly explained legal violations, helping students easily grasp and remember regulations while enhancing their self-protection skills. Seventh-grader Dinh Thi Huong said that the soldiers’ relatable approach helped her clearly identify acts of child abuse and exploitation, thereby raising her awareness of law compliance.

A working delegation of the Da Nang municipal Military Command visits a resident’s home in Agrong hamlet, Tay Giang commune, to distribute leaflets and raise awareness of law compliance. |
In mountainous areas, the city’s armed forces have determined that legal dissemination and education must be conducted regularly and tailored to local customs and practices. Combining the distribution of documents with direct dialogue has helped promptly address residents’ questions. The dissemination of the Law on Military Service has also been carried out synchronously across localities. Communal-level military commands have proactively coordinated with relevant forces to clearly explain enlistment age requirements, health examination standards, and policies for the families of servicemen. Mobile dissemination vehicles, loudspeaker systems, and visual banners and panels in villages and residential areas have helped build broad consensus.
Thanks to effective political and ideological work, many young people have proactively volunteered to join the military. Young man Nguyen Hoai Trung from Song Kon commune, Da Nang city, said that despite having graduated from university and secured a stable job, he was ready to set aside his personal career to fulfill his sacred duty to the Fatherland while still within the enlistment age.
Senior Colonel Dinh Van Hung, Political Commissar of the Da Nang municipal Military Command, affirmed that legal education could only produce substantive results when legal provisions were transformed into voluntary awareness and action. Recently, the unit has continuously diversified its approaches through dramatized programs, quiz-based activities, and the “QR code-integrated legal bookcase” model. These methods enable officers, soldiers, and local residents to quickly and conveniently access legal documents.
Within military agencies and units, legal education is closely integrated with political education and regularity building. Thematic activities focus on the Law on Military Service, traffic safety, and military discipline, laying a firm foundation for military personnel to properly perform their duties. In border and ethnic minority areas, the Da Nang municipal Military Command combines legal dissemination and education with mass mobilization and community-oriented activities. Presenting law books and supporting policy beneficiary families have helped strengthen military-civilian solidarity and further enhance the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new era.
The effectiveness of legal dissemination and education is ultimately reflected in changes in citizens’ daily actions. Continuing to promote the role of grassroots military cadres, the Da Nang municipal Military Command is determined to further spread the spirit of law observance, contributing to maintaining security and social order and firmly consolidating the all-people national defense posture in the area.
