The CMC permanent members heard a report on Viettel’s preparations and plan for organizing its Party Congress, presented by Major General Hoang Son, Secretary of the Viettel Party Committee and Deputy General Director.
They highly valued the group’s preparations for its Party Congress and congratulated it on the successful organization of the congresses of the Party organizations of Viettel Network Corporation and Viettel Telecom Corporation.
In his concluding speech, General Ngo Xuan Lich urged Viettel’s Party Committee to complete all necessary documents and make thorough preparations for the congress to make it a success.
Regarding the Viettel Party Committee’s political report, General Lich asked it to emphasize the achievements in directing the implementation of the political missions and the development of the company, along with its renovation, effective operation and overseas investment over the past years.
About the group’s major missions in the next five years, General Lich requested the Viettel Party Committee to specify its development strategies in line with the group’s situations and missions, and clearly define the objective of producing more products for the military.
The group was also asked to make more recommendations to the CMC and the Ministry of National Defense on training and developing high quality human resources for the group and other military units, develop the group in line with the fourth Industrial Revolution and effectively combine economic development with defense-security missions.
General Lich also wished that the group would strive to become a Vietnamese exemplary military business with high prestige and competitiveness both at home and abroad.
