General Ngo Xuan Lich speaks at the event.

Accordingly, the CMC’s Standing Committee and the GDP have directed military units to strictly study the prepared documents for Party congresses at all levels of the military and contributed opinions to the 13th National Party Congress.

The CMC has also assigned its subordinates to assist the Party committees of several units to hold model Party congresses to gain experience and improve the quality of Party congresses in other defense agencies and military units.

Besides, Party organizations at all levels in the military have closely grasped troops’ thoughts, and promoted the popularization of the contents of their Party congresses following the Party principles and disciplines.

Each Party congress is considered a chance for troops to raise their political stance, creativeness, and responsibility and promote the beautiful images of Uncle Ho soldiers in the current context. Party congresses also offer an opportunity to protect the Party's ideological foundation and fight against wrongful points-of-view from the hostile forces, as well as anti-congressional activities on documents and personnel-related work.

The CMC’s Standing Committee has also instructed Party organizations in the military to thoroughly prepare for Party congresses at the grassroots level with a focus on documents and personnel work. Notably, reports delivered during the congresses should be well-prepared while units should always pay special attention to personnel work to meet their requirements and tasks.

Furthermore, the CMC’s Standing Committee has also prepared for the upcoming 11th Military Party Congress in the 2020-2025 period, as well as actively contributed opinions and ideas to the draft documents for the 13th National Party Congress.

Reportedly, the preparation for the 11th Military Party Congress has been comprehensively implemented as scheduled.
