The political report presented by Lieutenant General Duong Duc Thien, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Academy, highlighted that during the 2020-2025 tenure, the Academy met or exceeded most of its targets, with 28 out of 43 tasks surpassing expectations. The Academy received emulation flags from both the Ministry of National Defense and the Government for three consecutive years.

For the 2025-2030 term, the Academy aims to become a smart, standardized, modernized, comprehensively-strong, exemplary and typical institution, focusing on breakthroughs in science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation, while improving the quality of education, training, and scientific research to contribute to building a revolutionary, regular, elite and modernized military.

Addressing the congress, Gen. Chien urged the Academy’s Party Organization to direct the breakthrough implementation and innovation to raise education and training quality.

He emphasized the need to modernize curricula, strengthen training programs, open new military logistics-related majors.

The defense leader also directed the Academy’s Party Organization to direct the building of a smart school, digital instructors, digital school and cadets, enhance the “Digital Literacy for All” movement, promote the use of IT, AI, and simulation technology in management and training, and develop a contingent of qualified instructors and education management staff with strong foreign language and IT skills.
