Gen. Quyet urged the Academy’s Party Organization to continue striving in the next term. He urged it to lead and direct the implementation of a number of key tasks such as continuing to thoroughly grasp and incorporate the Party’s guidelines and upcoming resolutions, especially new orientations on defense, military building, and national protection, into training programs. It should direct the standardization and improvement of expertise of its cadres and instructors and the increase of the proportion of the Academy’s staff holding postgraduate and professorial qualifications.

In addition, it should build a strong, healthy, exemplary and typical Party Organization. Moreover, it should actively and effectively engage in ideological and theoretical struggle, fight against hostile views and plots of “peaceful evolution” as well as signs of degradation in terms of politics, ethics, and lifestyle, “self-evolution,” and “self-transformation.” These would help ensure that the Academy remains a “fortress” in protecting the Party’s ideological foundation, contributing to upholding and strengthening the Party leadership over all aspects of the military.
