While attending the event, Chief of the General Staff and Deputy Minister of National Defense General Nguyen Tan Cuong praised and congratulated the academy’s Party Organization on its obtained results in the past term.

According to him, under the leadership of the academy’s Party Committee, the institution has successfully fulfilled political tasks. The quality of education and training and scientific research have constantly improved. Currently, 78.95% of the academy’s instructors hold postgraduate degrees, an increase of 16% compared to the previous term. Examination and assessment results show that 100% of the cadets have met requirements, with 98.63% rated credit or distinction, exceeding the congress resolution’s target by 13.63%. The academy has compiled, researched, and successfully defended numerous high-quality scientific projects, and has organized or participated in many major scientific conferences of profound theoretical and practical significance.
During the term, the Party Organization successfully met all 16 targets set in the resolution, of which eight targets were exceeded. For five consecutive years, the academy has been awarded the emulation flag for outstanding unit in conducting the “Determined to Win” movement in the whole military by the Ministry of National Defense. In 2021, it was presented with the First-class Fatherland Protection Order by the State President.
Looking ahead, General Nguyen Tan Cuong emphasized that the tasks of protecting the Fatherland and building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modernized military set even higher requirements. He said that in addition to its routine duties, the academy must focus on further improving the quality of education and training and research, incorporating new content into its training programs in line with the current situation and the organizational structure of the military, particularly after the implementation of the two-tier local government model.

The academy is requested to continue thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing the guidelines and directives of the Party Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on education and training and research, administrative reform, and digital transformation. It must uphold the principle that “the quality of the academy’s training reflects the combat readiness of the units.”
