Units asked to raise efficiency of staff and operation work
PANO - Last year, staff and operation units in the whole military promoted effectively their staff role to help the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the General Staff and units at all levels carry out successfully staff and operation missions, contributing to the effective implementation of military and defense missions.
The outcomes were reviewed on February 1 at a conference on staff and operation work in 2018, which was chaired by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Phuong Nam, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army.
The delegates affirmed that the force fulfilled successfully important missions, helping strengthen people’s trust in the military, safeguard firmly national sovereignty over seas and islands and political security and create favorable conditions for socio-economic development. Their achievements were acknowledged by the Party, State, Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense.
Concluding the conference, General Nam lauded staff and operation officers for their recorded achievements and asked them to raise the efficiency and quality of staff and operation work in 2018 with the focus on keeping in touch with and forecasting situation to give timely advice to the Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense and units at all level to deal with problems effectively. They were also requested to heighten their vigilance and combat readiness capacity, foil all schemes of hostile forces, promote studying to complete documents on operation and ensure security and information safety.
