General Nguyen Trong Nghia |
The results have contributed to further developing theoretical awareness and providing a scientific basis for the Party’s formulation of guidelines and policies. They have also helped clarify the role of political, spiritual and human factors, as well as public trust, in the cause of Fatherland protection.
General Nguyen Trong Nghia called on the agencies and units to further renew their thinking and focus research on strategic, emerging and difficult issues, closely linking theoretical research with practical review and improving forecasting capacity. Practical review, he stressed, should lead to new perceptions that can be developed into theories and scientific arguments for decision-making.

Prof., Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang |
Field surveys should go deeper into grassroots areas and strategic locations to identify problems, clarify the causes of bottlenecks, and detect new models and emerging factors. Each research product should assess potential developments, opportunities and challenges and propose appropriate responses.
Research should focus on building a strong whole-people’s defense, consolidating the people’s heart posture, and addressing issues related to the military’s revolutionary nature under new conditions and the qualities of Uncle Ho’s soldiers. It should also contribute to protecting the Party’s ideological foundation. Relevant forces should closely coordinate and apply science and technology to improve the effectiveness of cyber warfare while addressing strategic issues related to political and ideological work in the new situation.
