Sr. Lt. Gen. Phung Si Tan inspecting the Military Command of Nam Can commune |
The Military Command of Nam Can commune officially began operations on July 1, 2025 under the two-tier local government system. Despite numerous difficulties, with attention from higher-level authorities and timely coordination from local departments, agencies, and mass organizations, the command has successfully fulfilled its assigned tasks.
Notably, the commune military command has pro-actively advised the local Party Committee and People's Committee on issuing plans, decisions, and guidance documents to effectively implement the Law on Reserve Force and the Law on Military Service tailored to local realities. The unit has maintained proper registration and management of reservists, built strong militia, self-defense, and reserve forces, conducted training, exercises, and combat readiness inspections, and ensure benefits and policies for the forces in accordance with regulations.
