The nearly 100-square-meter house was built at a cost of VND 150 million, including VND 80 million contributed by the fund, the club, and Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuy, former Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Internal Affairs and former Head of the Ho Chi Minh City’s Commission on Emulation and Rewards, and the remaining from Dieu’s family and his relatives.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Senior Colonel Le Van Anh, Deputy Political Commissar of the Soc Trang provincial Border Guard Command, sent thanks to the sponsors, emphasizing that the house was a meaningful gift demonstrating the command’s care for its officers and soldiers.

With the new house, Capt. Dieu could stabilize his family life soon, so he could feel at ease to work, contributing to his unit, and completing all assigned missions, thus firmly safeguarding the nation’s territorial sovereignty and border security in the province.
