Units that participated in the parade commemorating the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day are now undergoing advanced training. Their parade marching distances have reached 150 to 180m, with female formations achieving 120 to 150m.

Alongside training activities, the units have also conducted political education and measures to overcome difficulties related to weather and living conditions to maintain regular training. They have also organized visits for the formations to the Vietnam Military History Museum and Ho Chi Minh Museum for political education purposes.

In his concluding remarks, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia commended relevant forces for their efforts in ensuring logistics and training for the parade. He urged the units to continue training according to plan, placing special emphasis on physical training, particularly for female formations, and encouraged instructors to correct soldiers’ movements more rigorously.

He also noted that the Naval Service, when organizing training and combined rehearsals for armed forces at sea, must do it thoroughly, ensuring absolute safety and cost-effectiveness. This includes coordination to ensure seamless, high-quality communication and video transmission.

The Deputy Chief of the General Staff directed the Department of Military Training and School Management, the Standing Organ of the Ministry of National Defense’s Parade Subcommittee, to prepare thoroughly and organize overall rehearsals of all forces at the National Military Training Center No.4 and Ba Dinh Square, ensuring absolute safety for personnel, equipment, and vehicles.

Agencies and units were requested to work closely with media outlets to provide timely information on the parade activities; maintain continuous political education and ensure good healthcare for troops; strictly implement disease prevention and control measures; ensure food safety and hygiene; and guarantee sufficient fuel, vehicles, and technical equipment as required.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia emphasized that time is running short before the commemorative event, and, therefore, all forces must promote their highest sense of responsibility and effort to fulfill their duties, ensuring that the celebration will reflect the scale and significance of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day.
