The journey began at the Nha Rong Wharf, where the delegation learned about President Ho Chi Minh’s early journey to seek the national salvation. At the Independence Palace, they revisited the iconic moment on April 30, 1975, when the flag of the National Front for the Liberation of the South was raised, marking the end of the resistance war and national reunification.

The delegation also visited the Rung Sac battlefield and listened to the stories about the fallen heroes.

They offered incense at the Ben Duoc Memorial Temple, which honors over 44,000 fallen heroes, and explored the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, a testament to the resilience and ingenuity of Vietnamese people during wartime.

In addition to historical education, the delegation presented gifts to war veterans, and revolutionary contributors in Tan Lap commune, Tay Ninh province and Phu My Hung commune, Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City.

The program aimed to foster patriotism, promote revolutionary traditions, and express deep gratitude to those who sacrificed themselves for the cause of national independence and freedom.
