GS visits Thua Thien Hue province
PANO - On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs’ Day (July 27), Deputy Chief of the General Staff (GS) Lieutenant General Pham Truong Son visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in Thua Thien Hue province on July 5.
On behalf of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Pham Truong Son handed over 110 gifts to policy beneficiaries and wounded and sick soldiers with difficult conditions in the province.

In his remarks, Lt. Gen. Pham Truong Son stated that in 2024, the whole military has built more than 540 gratitude houses and 1,366 great solidarity houses; presented gifts to policy beneficiaries, with a total cost of more than VND 14 billion, contributing to tightening military-civilian solidarity and beautifying the good virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new situation.

The GS deputy chief required the local authorities, armed forces, departments, sectors and organizations in the province to continue to care for the material and spiritual life of policy families, contributing to stabilizing their life and building an increasingly prosperous province.
