According to the brigade’s Commanding Officer Senior Colonel Hoang Ngoc Chien, the unit has embraced and strictly carried out the directive of the General Staff’s Chief on military and defense missions in 2022 and higher levels’ directives on combat readiness.

In addition, the brigade has strictly carried out guard duties and observed combat readiness regulations. Regarding recruit training, the unit has completed 80% of set training contents and is making preparations for a test to check recruits’ abilities.

Concluding the inspection, Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan acknowledged and praised the unit’s outstanding achievements in training and combat readiness over the past time and pointed out shortcomings in carrying out the mission and embracing troops’ thoughts.

The deputy chief of the General Staff asked the brigade to continue maintaining combat readiness, especially during SEA Games 31, festivals, and important political events of the country.

Together with preparing for testing recruits’ abilities, he urged the brigade’s Party Committee and Chain-of-Command to embrace troops’ thoughts and encourage them to fulfill assigned missions.

Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan asked the unit to pay attention to raising troops’ material life, preventing the COVID-19 pandemic, and applying measures to protect troops from getting sunstroke.
