Brigade 144 holds festival for new recruits
PANO - Brigade 144 under the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army on April 2 organized a festival to review the outcomes of one-month training for new recruits at Training Battalion 4.
Addressing the event, Senior Colonel Dinh Trung Kien, the brigade’s political commissar, emphasized the importance of the festival to evaluate new enlistees’ gains over the past one month of training to better the training in the coming months.
At the festival, new recruits took part in events, including political knowledge, line-up regulations, physical strength, infantry combat techniques, shooting techniques, and other techniques with explosive devices.
At the end of the festival, the organizers presented first, second and third prizes to collectives with the best results.
According to the organizers’ assessment, after one month of training, affiliates of Brigade 144 have competed the set training programs and schedule, new recruits have acquired basic knowledge as a premise for completion of the training duty in the months to come.
