Following the directives of the Central Military Commission and the leadership of the Ministry of National Defense, the GS directed its agencies and units to select over 1,000 officers, soldiers, and militiamen for the parade; conducted training effectively; enhanced inspection to raise training quality through each session; worked closely with relevant agencies and units to review and promptly propose adjustments regarding to the deployment of forces, equipment, and weapons. .

The GS directed the Departments of Operations and Electronic Warfare to conduct terrain surveys and coordinate with relevant agencies and units in drafting a combat readiness plans based on reality; be ready to handle circumstances; worked with the public security forces and localities to ensure political stability, tightly manage unmanned aerial vehicles.
Agencies and units under the GS fostered coordination in transporting participating officers, soldiers, and militiamen from the North and Central regions to Ho Chi Minh City and back to their units; ensuring logistics supplies, accommodations, and transportation for delegates.

After more than four months of intense training, the officers and soldiers from the GS's agencies and units successfully fulfilled their mission, contributing significantly to the overall success of the celebration.
Speaking at the event, Gen. Tan praised and congratulated the officers and soldiers on their outstanding performance in the parade. He emphasized that their participation in the parade helped affirm the continuous growth and strength of the Vietnam People's Armed Forces under the sound leadership of the Party. The event left a strong and positive impression of the heroic, regular, elite, and friendly Vietnam People's Army, helping widely spread the noble qualities of “Uncle Ho’s Soldiers” to the Vietnamese people and international friends.
Looking ahead, the GS’s deputy chief urged all agencies and units to build upon their achievements and continue to enhance education and dissemination to raise troops’ responsibility and determination to fulfill upcoming tasks.

He requested agencies and units to start preparing for the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day; effectively carry out political and ideological education; regularly encourage officers and soldiers; well take care of troops’ material and spiritual life.
At the event, the GS rewarded 225 individuals and 14 collectives with outstanding achievements in joining the parade.
