At the event, the work was reported to be carried out synchronously, creatively and flexibly with both routine and unscheduled tasks completed. Numerous suggestions were made to help facilitate the implementation of military and defense missions and the building of a politically-strong military and a typical, strong and healthy Military Party Organization.

In addition, the political and ideological education as well as information dissemination work was promoted while enhancement was seen in the fight to protect the Party’s ideological foundation. Notably, activities in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification were held successfully, leaving deep impressions on people at home and abroad. Furthermore, all-level Party congresses were conducted, laying a good foundation for the 12th Congress of the Military Party Organization.
Having heard the report and opinions of participants, Gen. Quyet highly praised agencies and units in the whole military for their pro-activeness, renovation, and creativity in performing the Party and political work in the first half of this year.
Regarding the remainder of the year, the GDP chief urged them to overcome shortcomings pointed out at the conference, continue to embrace and realize higher-level resolutions and directives on military and defense tasks in the second half.

According to him, focuses should be on further studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and style; carrying out the project on arrangement of local military organizations in an elite, compact and strong direction to meet task requirements in the new situation. Making thorough preparations and organizing all-level Party congresses; improving quality of cultural and artistic programs for big days; and strengthening troops-people relations are also highlighted.
Gen. Quyet requested military press agencies to pro-actively renovate dissemination contents and forms on digital platforms and team with their peers outside the military to cover military and defense task implementation, Military Party Organization building and defense diplomacy activities.
For newly-merged agencies and units, the GDP chief asked them to concentrate on combat readiness posture, training, exercises, application of science and technology and AI, administrative reform, digital transformation in Party and political work.
