GDP delegations inspect several units
PANO - On November 5, Inspection Delegation No.1 from the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) of the Vietnam People's Army, led by its Deputy Chief Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, conducted an inspection of the Party and political work and military tasks for 2024 at the Da Nang Municipal Border Guard Command.
The delegation assessed that the unit had effectively aligned its political and military tasks with real conditions, strictly following the directives and plans for Party and political work as well as other military activities. The unit met the set targets, leading efforts in political and ideological education, and legal dissemination. The delegation also commended the unit for its well-coordinated and impactful execution of emulation and commendation activities tied closely to mission requirements.

To continue this progress, the delegation advised the Party Committee and Command of the Da Nang Municipal Border Guard to further enhance political education and ideological leadership, strengthen oversight of military personnel relationships, and implement preventative measures against political ideology degradation and disciplinary violations. They emphasized improving methods in organizing the Determined to Win emulation movement and focusing on the physical and mental well-being of soldiers while fostering a healthy cultural environment within the unit.

During the program, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh visited, inspected, and encouraged the officers and soldiers at Phu Loc Border Guard Station and Flotilla 2 under the Da Nang Municipal Border Guard Command.
* The same day, Inspection Delegation No. 3 from the General Department of Political Affairs, led by Major General Nguyen An Phong, Chief of the Department of Organization, reviewed the Party and political work at the Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command and Border Guard Command. The delegation praised the units' achievements in 2024 and highlighted the importance of advising the Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee in effectively implementing local military and defense tasks.
They instructed the units to maintain combat readiness, remain vigilant in all situations, prepare thoroughly for upcoming Party congresses, and assist the local council for military service in effectively conducting the 2025 recruitment drive.
