In his opening remarks, Lt. Gen. Le Quang Minh emphasized that using young orators is a unique method of disseminating information and educating military youth, drawing the active participation of a large number of officers and Youth Union members. This is an effective form and method to impart revolutionary ideals, bravery, and raise troops and Youth Union members’ awareness and responsibility.

The contest is an occasion to evaluate the quality and efficiency of the dissemination and education work of Youth Union organizations at all levels, as well as the dissemination capability of officers and Youth Union members, thereby supplementing, innovating and perfecting the content and form of dissemination; consolidating trust and encouraging youngsters to promote their roles and responsibilities in political task performance of each unit and the whole military.

The GDP deputy chief required leaders and chains-of-command of agencies and units to pay due attention to dissemination and education work; promptly draw lessons to have appropriate measures to further foster and improve knowledge and professional skills of officers and youth union members, as well as raise the quality and efficiency of the Youth Union work and youth movements.

This year, 31 teams participating in the contest focus on disseminating information about the military’s traditions associated with their units and localities’ traditions; the outstanding achievements obtained over the past 35 years of the Whole People’s Defense Festive Day; military-civilian solidarity and the good virtues of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new context; exemplary models and individuals in the whole military and military youths’ responsibility in military building and Fatherland protection, to name but a few.

The hospital’s report revealed that the helipad at the building of the Institute of Orthopedics was put into operation in 2020. Up to now, the hospital has coordinated with units to transport 39 patients by helicopter, ensuring safety in all aspects. The hospital is currently deploying an additional helipad at the general hospital building with 1,000 beds, expected to be completed in 2025.

After the inspection, Lt. Gen. Pham Truong Son applauded Military Hospital 175 for its close coordination with other units in implementing the task of air medical evacuation, emphasizing the significance of the work, especially for national sea and islands. He required the hospital to conduct regular training activities for forces participating in air medical evacuation teams and prepare enough supplies and equipment for the mission. Meanwhile, the units should enhance collaboration in task performance, ensuring safety for personnel, vehicles, and technical equipment.
