The Chief of the GDP emphasized that the materials being digitized are of special historical and practical value, not only serving long-term storage and retrieval purposes, but also representing a form of tribute to previous generations of military cadres. If not implemented promptly, these valuable documents would face the risk of deterioration, loss or damage, thereby causing difficulties for future reference and research.
General Nguyen Trong Nghia required all officers, staff and forces involved in the digitization process to maintain strong focus, a sense of urgency, seriousness and responsibility. Alongside meticulous and careful operational procedures, each individual was urged to promote innovation and creativity, and propose practical initiatives to accelerate progress, thus making an active contribution to the digital transformation of Party and political work across the entire military.
He also instructed functional agencies of the GDP to place special emphasis on information security, strictly preventing any leaks, losses or breaches of data. At the same time, attention should be paid to improving working conditions, ensuring the health and well-being of officers, staff and workers so that they can successfully fulfill their assigned tasks in accordance with the established plan.
On the same day, General Nguyen Trong Nghia and the working delegation also inspected food processing and meal provision at the canteen of the GDP Headquarters.
