Under the theme “Infantry battalion attacking enemy forces defending in mountainous terrain,” the participating force coordinated combat operations across different phases, such as preparation; breaching and capturing the breaching point; assaulting and capturing targets; and attacking clustered enemy forces.
Previously, Division 320 directed Regiment 52 to coordinate closely with the local Party committee and authorities, and the Military Command of Tra Giang commune to secure the source of reservists and strictly manage the quantity, quality, health, and combat readiness of each individual.

The unit also organized training, shifted reservists to a combat readiness posture, and assumed combat missions according to regulations. Political and ideological education was conducted synchronously to encourage 100% of officers, soldiers, and reservists to overcome current difficulties, successfully complete training subjects, and ensure absolute safety for personnel, weapons, and equipment.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Trung Hieu, Commanding Officer of Division 320, stated that during the reception, training, and exercises for the reserve force, the unit thoroughly grasped the resolutions and directives from higher authorities. He noted that the coordination was organized strictly and scientifically, with training and exercises adhering to mottos “Reserves are like regular force” and “Basic, practical, solid.”
He emphasized that the drill served as an important basis for the unit to further perfect its plans and improve the quality of building the reserve force, meeting requirements of firmly defending the Fatherland in the new situation.
