Over the past 75 years, the generations of officers and soldiers of Department 75 have always been absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people, fostering the virtues of Uncle Ho's soldiers, promoting heroic traditions, demonstrating intelligence, courage, creativity, and making numerous excellent feats-of-arms. They have contributed to the national liberation and reunification cause as well as undertaken international missions.
Along with the development process, the technical reconnaissance force in general and the officers, employees, and soldiers of Department 75 in particular, have undergone significant changes in thinking, constantly striving to fulfill their assigned tasks, affirming their extremely important role in the national construction and defense cause. Department 75 is one of the two units of the defense intelligence sector visited by President Ho Chi Minh and awarded the Hero of the People's Armed Forces title and many other prestigious awards by the Party and State. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of its foundation day, Department 75 was honored to receive the first-class Fatherland Protection Order.

Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong congratulated the unit on its achievements and requested its officers, employees, and soldiers to embrace the guidelines and resolutions of the Party and the Central Military Commission on military and defense tasks, especially the strategy for protecting the Fatherland in the current context. The leaders of the Department are to pay attention to improving the effectiveness of political and ideological education, fully utilize their advisory role, focus on the reorganization of the force, and actively build and implement projects to enhance the capacity of the technical reconnaissance force, he added.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong expressed his confidence that the officers, employees, and soldiers of Department 75 will continue to promote their achievements, always excellently fulfill all assigned tasks.
